I have installed Carbide.c++ and the Series 80 SDK (which the download page says supports CodeWarrior). Compiling the HelloWorldBasic in the SDK examples gives linking errors because there is no winscw library directory installed with the SDK.

If I change the linking options to use the wins library directory the program compiles OK. If I then launch the debugger the Communicator emulator runs but nothing happens - there are no error messages and the HelloWorldBasic is not installed in the emulator. I presume this is because I have used the libraries from the wins directory.

Is there another Series 80 SDK download somewhere that does contain the required CodeWarrior libraries or is there another solution to this problem?

    Regards, Robert Kovacic

Hm, just installed S80 and have no issues. Is it possible that you imported a helloworldbasic project from an S60 SDK or WINS S80 SDK, this would not work?

Just to make sure, in the Window -> Preferences -> Carbide.c++ -> SDK Preferences, what is the name of the S80 SDK that is displayed?

Doh! Problem solved - found the CodeWarrior SDK version on the download page dropdown box.
