    Hey

I know that Carbide is based on Eclipse and all but that shouldn't interfere with my current Eclipse installation should it? Carbide is a standalone installation right?

Well I can't run Eclipse after having installed Carbide. Any ideas to why this is so?

The only issue you should have is that two Eclipse installation open at the same time are not able to use the same workspace, you need to have separate workspaces for each Eclipse instance open.

What exactly happens when you try to start the other Eclipse installation?

    I get the following message:

I can't seem to make any sense of it.

I've tried reinstalling eclipse btw but it still won't start up.

When you have the issue, is Carbide.c++ active or not?
What version of Java do you have installed?
I expect that your Eclipse installation worked before installing Carbide?
