Displaying an animated Gif

I am trying to display an animated gif as the background for my application, with commands to start and stop the animation.

I understand this would be possible by using the animation client/server architecture.

Does anybody know if there is there a simpler method of doing this, by using the Image Conversion Library?

I would be most gratefull for any help.

CPAlbImageViewerBasic class
