    Hi!

I start the emulator from the command line with the following command:
    emulator.exe -Xdevice:Series_60_MIDP_Concept_SDK_Beta_0_3_1_Nokia_edition -Xdescriptor:<appName>

This works fine but I need to start the game immidiatly without having to press a softkey to run the game after the emulator has been started. Is this possible to do in some way?

    Tanks in advance

    Hi,

The platform (final, non-concept) SDKs behave this way. Series 60 Feature Pack 2 for MIDP SDK for example is one of them.

    Thanks for your help.

By the way, is it possible to run an application without using the emulator? I don't really need to see what is happening on the display, I just want to run several applications at once.

Hm, not that I'm aware of. You need the bindings from the J2ME APIs to their native counterparts (the actual implementation code), so you really need a runtime for that, which is provided by the emulator.
