Format will not really format the MMC in 6680

I want to have the MMC with the factory defaults (completely empty?).

I tried Tools>Memory>Format, the process runs successfully, it prompts for a new name for the memory, but I still have 31MB used in the MMC. I could go and remove folder by folder, but I am not sure if that would bring the MMC to its factory defaults and it's also time consuming.

I also tried *#7370# and *#7780# but it seems that those are just for resetting C: and D: but not E.

Any ideas?

Try formatting ur mmc using PC.this should fully format it.....

Hi...I have Exactly same problem like this topic by Nokia 6630 & MMC 64 MB.

answer is using PC Formating to completly format the Memory Multimedia Card.

and just a little question : But How ?
how do i Format my MMC 64 MB by using PC ?
Could you please guide me to find related topics or something if this Discussion did before? Thanks from Iran.

With P you just put the card into a card reader (some PC's have them included, others you need to buy USB card reader) and it wil show as normal drive that can be formatted just as any other drive.

OK.
after i read your Reply i took my Cell Phone to a Mobile Store Center whom has a Ram Reader and asked him to format it.
one Theme and something else stored in Memory Card that did not deleted before...has formated.
The Problem has solved with your Guide and i am so happy without any PB and love my dear 6630.
