Hi all, can anybody explain (or point me to any online doc) the exact function of the two option "use security" and "use compression" in the SIP profiles panel of the NOKIA SIP stack?

    regards

    Rocco

use security - indicates the usage of sec-agree ( RFC3329)
use compression - indicates the usage of signaling compression (RFC3486)

Is it possible to remove sec-agree from the allowed field? I'm connecting to a server that reports this as a bad extension

Do you mean "Proxy-Require"? Just set "use security" to off.

I'm using CSIPRegistration not the profiles.

Also, any idea how to construct security headers manually? Currently the stack generates them automatically
