S40 Theme Studio and The Country Policy

I was trying to download the Nokia Series 40 Theme Studio.

This is what I get:

Downloader's Country Group??? what is that supposed to mean?
I live in Argentina and apparently that means my country is a level "D" so I get no support?

And the worst part is the error message states why I can't get the program.

I'm sorry to say this is borderline facist.

I know most of you won't care but I had to let you know.

I'll look into this, and see what restrictions are on that file for downloading. I could not find any information

Hi,

I looked into this and the only countries that are not allowed are those on an international list. Argentina is NOT on this list and there is no reason for it to give this error. However the testing is done using the Internet Provider's address so if you had an internet provider from a banned country this may show up.

I hope this explains it, and the countries that are banned has nothing to do with Nokia it is international laws.

Hi,

I face the same problem. I downloaded Symbian SDK few weeks ago, but I have not used it yet. Now I would like to develop with Symbian so I tried to download the codewarrior free evaluation. I got this message :

I figured out I cannot download from Nokia website anymore. I am living in France.

Unfortunately I got this problem, too. I wanted to download the Carbide.c++ Express development environment from Hungary but it couldn't be performed.
