Cannot launch app from emulator s60 3rd ed

Hi all,

Something strange happens to me, I have created a S60 application. I am able to debug it by using CodeWarrior and the s60 WINSCW emulator, the application is launched correctly and I get step in/out in the source code.
The problem is if I launch the emulator alone (execute epoc.exe) and I go to installed folder, I can see my application icon, but nothing happens if I try to open it...?
I did the same thing with the HelloWorld Basic app and this time, it works, I can launch it from either the debugger or the stand alone WINSCW emulator.

I don't see what I did differently with my app than the HelloWorldApp?
Is there someone can help me on telling me what might be wrong?

Are you sure you have in the right spot the right application files? I mean the exe, the mif and the rsc.

Check the paths:

Disk:\Symbian\9.1\S60_3rd\Epoc32\release\winscw\udeb\Myapp.exe

Actually my files are at:

I checked that HelloWorldBasic files are in the same places.
The only differences is that I am using localization and that the resource files have extension .r01 instead of .rsc. Also, I am not using .mif I am using an .mbm file, the app icons are displayed correctly.
I precise that if I debug another s60 app with the emulator and I go back to the main s60 menu then to installed folder and try to open my app , nothing happens...and nothing can be seen in the debug window (usually we can see starting thread information or panic or KERN error messages)...

I fixed it, just for info I post a reply for others.
The appname in the _reg file must be the name of the .exe defined in mmp file:

RESOURCE APP_REGISTRATION_INFO
{
app_file="myapp";
...

Silly but painful...
