    Could any one have an idea?

    How we can get the status of GPRS?
    if it is there [available] or Not ?

    because sometimes eg: If i am at the lower ground floor of the building connection gets lost.

    How could i know this thing in J2ME ?

    If I'm not mistaken, a SecurityException or a ConnectionNotFoundException will be thrown.
