    hi,
    i want to create an executable in symbian C++. i can make only .app from VC++ ->series60 appwizard . but i dont understand how can i make an .exe with one header,one .cpp and one .mmp file.
    this executable is required for creating a server.
    if anyone knows it pls help me.

    You'll find lots of examples about creating exes, both in the sdk examples and online resources (take www.newlc.com and this very same forum for instance)

    hi,
    thanks for your reply.i need another help.i want to work with series60 3rd edition(symbian 9.1) and vs.net.i installed both of them but cant connect the path. That is i cant build any project.if u know pls help me.

    Visual Studio.NET 2003 or Visual Studio.NET 2005?

    For Visual Studio.NET 2003 you also need Carbide.vs first, then the S60 3rd Edition SDK, I think.

    Visual Studio.NET 2005 will not work at all for Symbian/S60 development, as far as I'm aware.
