    I use
Symbian OS C++ SDK for 3rd Edition
    ActivePerl 5.8.8.817
    Carbide.c++ Express

I successfully created and built new project.
The exe file of project is created in C:\Symbian\9.1\S60_3rd\Epoc32\release\winscw\udeb
    and resource file in
    C:\Symbian\9.1\S60_3rd\Epoc32\release\winscw\udeb

I have tried to run built project in emulator but I can't see created application.

    What's wrong?

    Where is it?

    Thank you

Couple of things that could cause this. 1) A UID3 that is not unique (application UID) or 2) resources in the wrong place.

Did you try to create an application for S6.0 3.x GUI EXE (e.g. like in the tutorial in the Carbide.c++ documentation). Does that show up and run/debug properly?

Also, Perl 5.6.1 is recommended. I've seen build problems using Perl 5.8.

    Hello

    I tried:

New -> Symbian OS C++ Project (for example name "CCC")-> I choose S60 3.x GUI Application -> Application UID should be random (0x0C11E9EC) and given by Carbide.
I successfully builded (Build All) project.

    Created files:
    Resource
    C:\Symbian\9.1\S60_3rd\Epoc32\release\winscw\udeb\z\resource\apps\CCC.rsc
    C:\Symbian\9.1\S60_3rd\Epoc32\include\CCC.rsg
    C:\Symbian\9.1\S60_3rd\Epoc32\release\winscw\udeb\CCC.exe

But still I can't see new application (CCC) in emulator

    Thank you

Did you look in the "Installed" folder? Unlike S60 2.x, S60 3.0 installations get put in this folder.

I am sorry but what do you mean: "Instaled Folder"?

    Thank you

In the lower right hand corner of the emulator window, there is a folder called "Installat.", short for installations or something like that, did you take a look inside?
