    Have you tried Content-Type : audio/midi ?
From what I understand IIS has problems with the common audio/mid content type...

Why cant the Nokia 7650 download midi files that work on the Nokia 3510 and 6210 phones? The content type is audio/midi.

These are the headers that our server is sending:

    HTTP/1.1 200 OK
    Server: Microsoft-IIS/5.0
    Date: Tue, 10 Sep 2002 14:05:54 GMT
    Content-Type: audio/mid
    Accept-Ranges: bytes

Can anyone see anything wrong or shed any light on this? I did send the MIDI file to Nokia Knowledge Network as previously requested by never received a reply.

    Hello!

What does the phone say when you try to download the tone? Are you accessing the file trough the same WAP gatewy as you were using with 3510? You can't have MIDI tones at Nokia 6210.
