build failure

although my workspace does not contain any spaces and HelloS60aif.rss does exist in that directory, i have the following error.

can you help me?

You are referencing to c:\workspace\HelloS60\aif\HelloS60aif.rss, which is not there. Check your AIF-line in the .mmp file (usually at the end). If you do not want to create an aif, just comment the line with //.

thanks for your reply. but unfortunately i dont have a .mmp file.

Even you do not use .mmp, there must be some project descriptor file referencing HelloS60aif.rss. It is probably an .xml file in the project (I do not have Carbide or CodeWarrior here and now, so I can not check the exact name; HelloS60-SymbianOS-properties.xml or something like that). And it will also reveal if you still have an .mmp.
