Problem with S60 3rd Edition emulator in textshell mode

Has anyone seen the following problem before with the S60 3rd Edition emulator in textshell mode?. (i.e. textshell statement added to start of epoc.ini file)

The textshell window contents (i.e. the blue screen with yellow text) are displayed/drawn outside the emulator application; always at the top left of the screen.

Anyway, if anyone has seen this before do they know how it can be fixed?

I am facing the same problem.
I dont think emulator handles different screen resolutons properly.
I am able to see the right border in the 416*352 resolution, though!

I have found a workaround for the problem: reboot your machine.
However, this only lets you run the emulator once in text mode before the problem reappears.

When trying to run the client server simple app,

i get the c:\> prompt in the blue screen, and the client server program does not run

That is why it is called "textshell": you get a command prompt, where you can type "DOS" commands, and execute your .exe-s.

Also note that your question is not that closely related to the original topic of this thread. For example if you have "blue screen", you are probably using S60 2nd edition.
