Receiving blank Text Message when I have Voicemail

"3" branded Nokia 6280 on T-mobile network in U.S.
Firmware v. 3.40

I have been receiving calls when the caller has left a Voicemail, however the only notificaiton I receive is one of these phantom or ghost text messages where there are no details available. Also, I do not get a VM icon, but when I call into my VM, I can listen to the message.

Any thoughts?

Have you contacted your operator T-mobile? (since the message is generated from them).

Yes, but unfortantely they said the couldn't help since it was on a phone that's not supported in the U.S. Though they did say they checked their database for other similiar problems and couldn't come up with anything.
