On Nokia's webpage there's an summary of the technical specifications for the N73. It does not mention the H.264 codec.
It says:
• Played formats: AMR-NB, AMR-WB, AAC, RealAudio, RealVideo, H.263, MPEG-4

I got success 2 upgrade my N73 mobile. and after
very next day, I tried to update my mobile's software through NOKIA
SOFTWARE UPDATER, while updation, automatically my PC shows that DATA
CABLE IS disconnected and my mobile phone is bcum dead.I tried to many
tyms to restart my mobile, but, I could not.
So, i earnestly request you to give me the guide to repair my cell.

Go to www.nokia.com/support and locate your nearest Nokia authorized repair/service center and take or send your phone there.
