6682- Unable to install - invalid file

Hi,
I am trying to install, via GPRS, a J2ME application. I am using a JAD and a JAR file. I am using the nokia 6682 and when a connect to the server to download the Jad file I got the following message: Unable to install Invalid File.
This application works in other phones and has 50KB (jar).

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Hi,
Can you please try downloading the jad and jar to your PC and then install it using PC suite.we should also doubt about the GPRS settings in the phone.If the above method works,then we can be sure that the problem is due to some GPRS settings in your phone.

Hi Samura,

Please verify whether ur jad & manifest attributes are correct. also please check whether all the available values(except jar size & url) in the jad file correctly coincide with the manifest file.
Pleasea lso check whether u r using the correct permisions. Also check whetehr ur appplication is using any api which is not supported by 6682

can you do us a favour and post ur jad and manifest file contents so we can see if thats where the problem is from.

Another source is you need have property key and value sperated by : and single space. ust : would not do.
