How FaceWave application adds a menu command in default messaging application?

Hello guys,

I think you guys are aware of FaceWave messaging application. My question is how it adds a menu commands to default messaging app. How I can add a customized menu command to messaging app like FaceWave. Is it possible to add such kind of menu command in other application like Services? Or does it require nokia’s private library for this purpose?
