MMS Image compression

Hey all, I have a 9500 Communicator, and whenever someone sends a picture to my phone, the image is compressed to about 3kb and it's extra small. In the MMS settings I changed the "compress image" option to "no", but they still come really small. Is there any way to fix this so that I'll receive images at their original size?

The image may have been compressed in the other mobile before it was send ur mobile

thx, I tried testing that. I saved an image on the 9500 that was 48k and sent it to myself. That image was also compressed to 3k. I've been looking through all the settings and I can't find anything related to image resizing other than the compression option. Is this something the mms server is doing?

Hi,

It may also can occur due to operator restriction(not sure).

In the first post it is seen that u have changed the mms settings and made compression to no. After that did u switch off/on the mobile. It may also can occur due to that the settings are not originally getting set in ur mobile.
