    Hi!

    I have a desperate need to know if the Nokia 5500 that will exit this summer will have the APIs to access the pedometer information!

    It is extremely important...

    The Java API access to the accelerometer requires a special firmware build, it is not available on the production devices.

    As far as I know there should be a way to access the sensor from native apps. However it is worth remembering that the API is probably going to change in the future. I'll try to find out if there is any documentation for this.

    Hi, I was wondering if there was any more news on this matter? Is it possible to use the pedometer and tilt function in j2me?
