Convert sms/mms to eMails? (Backup)

Hi guys,

im looking for a tool, which is able to "convert" SMS and/or MMS to eMails. It´s a little bit difficult to explain, but I want to have my messages from my mobilephone (3230) on my computer, too: Yet as an eMail!

If I get a message on my phone, the tool should send the content of the message (including images - if available) to my eMail-Address...

Sorry for very bad english, but is it possible?

as an eMail to my own eMail address: Automatically, if an sms/mms
arrives...

Hi Axe air,

I've never heard of such solution. If you're using the native boxes (inbox, outbox, etc) JME doesn't have access to them.

In case you're planning to develop a solution on your own maybe you can develop a MIDlet that will listen on a specific port (and then have access to msgs) and then upload the messages to a backend server, which in turns will use JavaMail (or the like) to send e-mail msgs to your e-mail account...i'm not sure if it's worth the effort...it's up to you.

Let's see if anyone else has another solution and/or ideas.

but is there a windows software, that is available to get messages from the mobilephone (over a cable), and save them in a special folder on the PC?
