Asian Language (Japanese/Chinese) localization fonts

Hi all,

I am a UI designer working with a small development house on a J2ME app targeting the S40 phone.

My company is planning to localize the product for the Asian markets. In our current Western language build, we utilize our own custom font via a .BDF file. When porting to Japanese and Chinese, we will probably stick with the default font on the device.

I am wonder if there is any current documentation on Asian Language Localization? What are Chinese/Japanese fonts face used on the Nokia device?

We need to create accurate mock-ups since the app we are writing is fairly complicated (with many custom UI elements). Know what font(s) we have access to will affect our design tremendously.
