    Is python 2.4 coming in near time, or not? I would like to know this as I have to adapt a python 2.4 program for the symbian python and this is a painstaking job. If 2.4 is not coming soon I will just rewrite the program for symbian I think.

    The move to a newer base Python version isn't happening in the next few months at least.
