hold 5 seconds then continue

Hi,

I know this is a simple question but all I want to do is create delay so that I can show screen with say a picture,keep that screen up for say 5 seconds then automaticaly show the next screen without the user having to press a button.. is there a time or something function that could help me..? timmer for x amount of seconds and then it continous..

If someone can help me it would be greatly apreciated!

Yep there indeed is.

1. RTimer
2. CTimer
3. CPeriodic (probably your best bet!)

Are all your friend (I hoping that you don't need realtime timing guarantees though )

The above code is of Symbian C++, and would not work for your Java app.
