RRC States

Hi,

I would like to know:
1.- is there any way to extract through Symbian the RRC Connected Mode from the network?. I mean which one is the state, idle, Cell_pch, cell_fach, cell_dch.

2.- is it possible to know if the phone is using Circuit Switch service or Packet Switch service?.

In Java
1) no
2) no (although Sprint phones have some proprietary extensions for this)
