I was searching for the web based link to Request serial number for Carbide.j. But was unable to find it! (May be I have missed!). I guess after 'n' days of using evaluation, one pop up window will be comming informing you to request for a serial number. Please connect your machine to internet and could easily request for a serial number in the popping up Browser window after wards.(please make sure that you have logged in to Forum Nokia.)

If this does not help, please let us know so that we could try for an alternative way!

    Regards
    Gopal

Equal I cannot obtain the serial number. Not online not offline.
Seeing the code source of the page html http://forum.nokia.com/main/0,,034-521,00.html (Series 40 Platform SDKs) i search the frase "Request serial number for" and see that (between other things, overcoat the function requestSerial()) the URL is formed to http://www.forum.nokia.com/product_r...serial?fileId=value. ( for example: value=16516 extracted from <option value="16516-0">2.0 Platform, Version 1.1</option>)
I do copy directly this URL in the navegator bar of directions and automatic it was notifying (previous login) to me that sending to my email the serial number of the product (in this case of example for the product Series 40 SDK 2.0 Platform, Version 1.1). But as I have not (no know) the "fileId" for Carbide.j it is not possible to obtain it.
    Someone can help me?

    Thanks.
    Henry

    PD: sorry my english

If you are unsuccessful and unable to obtain the serial number, send your username and the name of the program you are trying to install to:
nokia.forum.team@nokia.com and they could create the serial number for you manually.

    Hope this helps!

    Regards
    Gopal
