SIP begin help

I am new in SIP development. I have some question about SIP.
<1>I do not like to choose Nokia's phone for my test device. Which devices are available?
<2>Can I use the other SDK excep Nokia S60 series for development?
<3>Reading jsr 180 is easy compare with implementing, since many unnormal situation will happen. What is your terrible experience when you implement sip in the beginning?

1) Nokia S60 3rd edition devices (E60, E61, E70, 3250, N92, N93, N80, ...) .. oops, you do not like to have Nokia device, ... well I donot know SIP API availability from other manufacturers. Also http://www.j2mepolish.org/devices/devices-sipapi.html only lists a couple of Nokia devices.
2) you can also use the Prototype SDK, but I would recommend you to use S60 3rd Edition. I think WTK 2.5 beta also supports SIP.

AFAIK, now only Nokia devices support JSR 180. I guess you can see more devices that too from other vendors like BenQ-Siemens, which supports JSR180 may be in a few weeks or months!
