6111 KNIEXT runtime exception

Hi,

I'm getting a KNIEXT _NewGlobalRef failed runtime error when I try to use an HTTP connection from within a MIDlet on a Nokia 6111.

The same MIDlet works perfectly on 20 other phones and I'm able to browse the web using the built in browser.

If anybody has any suggestions they'd be *really* appreciated.

what's the URL you are trying to connect to?

I've tried several - including numeric IP addresses and www.google.com.

Have you tried to reboot the phone (take also the battery away)? The reason might be that some previous http attempt has not been close properly.

Oh no ... that's the *one* thing I didn't try. And yes it works perfectly now.
