How to Read SMS through Nokia 6280?

I can use AT Command to Read (Phone) SMS using Nokia 6230i.

AT+CPMS="ME"
AT+CMGR=1
.... (Sucessfully get the SMS)

But why I can't Read (Phone) SMS using Nokia 6280.

at+cpms=?
+CPMS: (),(),()

How come?

Is it related to the symbian OS?

Then, How Can I read SMS?

I 've try to read SMS from 6234 and have the same results.

AT+CPMS?
+CPMS: ,,,,,,,,
OK
AT+CPMS=?
+CPMS: (),(),()
OK

Know some body what this answer meaning ?
Have this phone no access to the memory location ?

with Nokia 6151 I've the same problem like 6280 and 6234!
Know somebody what is the reason for this problems ?
If the phone not supported the at command at+cpms=?why it doesn't
receive "ERROR" ?

Do know somebody if it's possible, that this behavior is dependt on the edition from the operating system S40. Because 6280,6234 and 6280 used S40 3nd but the phones thst supported resd SMS 6822 and 6230i used S40 2nd .
