    Hello,

I was searching through the different threads of this forum and through the data sheets of the devices mentioned above in order to find an answer for my question, but somehow I got lost a little bit and I am not sure completelly. I would like to implement the following thing:

A Java application which can display and edit the contact information from the phone's SIM card and/or internal memory. In addition, this Java application shall be able to connect to an internet server via means of TCP/IP and/or UDP.

Is something like this possible with the 6230, 6230i and/or 8800 via a Java application? In case not, do other Nokia mobile phones support these features (either via Java or via another API)?

Thank you very much for your help,
    M
