MMS info please

hi all,

i am a beginner in MMS. I would like to know info regarding the following questions.

1.How a phone retrieves the MMS if there is no WAP or HTTP (data channel) support. Eg: How does 7650 retrieves the MMS message if its not WAP enabled.

2.Where does the conversion takes place from MMS message to E-mail message (MIME which uses boundaries b/w the message parts instead of WAP encoding) if the sender specifies an e-mail id as destination.

3. Will the MMSC be like an SMSC which is addresed with an SMSC number.
OR will it be just an HTTP server to which the client connects while retrieval.

1. it doesn't
2. this normally takes place at the MMSC
3. ummmm -- yes? Not sure what you're after -- your MMS terminal must have MMSC settings in order to be able to receive MMS messages, so yes, that's like an SMSC.
