i have a long form that has to remeber the info input/selected from card to card. How do i get a var to be input in one card and remebered in the next card, info added, that info passed with the previous info into another card and then sent onto a script. Hopefully withou having to resort to CGI,Perl,or PHP.

I have passed a variable from one deck to another to use it later. It's entered on one deck, posted to a servlet, then later posted to another servlet along with some other variables. This works OK with a real 7110v4.73, the UP.SDK and various other emulators. What device are you using? Can you post your wml to a web server?
