S40 Theme Studio 1.2 & 2.1 and serial numbers ?

Hi there everybody
Here is my thing I have installed S40 Theme Studio version 2.1 but it wouldn't create themes readable by N6103 so I installed version 1.2. I had to format my hard drive and after installing Theme Studio (both versions) it doesn't want to accept my serial numbers I have used the same installation files, the same serial numbers and user name. any ideas why it would not accept those information ?

I have also heard some similar issues that the same serial number was unable to reuse. I am not sure in this case. Will check with Nokia tools team guys regarding the current Serial number usage strategy and will get back to you.
BTW, may be you could try requesting for a new serial number in the same way as you have got it earlier. I was searching for the web based link to Request serial number for S40 theme studio. But was unable to find it! (May be I have missed!).

I guess I will have to request new serials as of now while waiting for some more informations. I am not sure if there are any links for registering but I know I can request them from the program level Thanks for your help in advance

Is there any reason why you have to use Theme Studio and not Carbide.ui? Forum Nokia no longer supports Theme Studio.

I ve try this carbide, but when make s40 theme with animation bground (i made gif animation using Imageready) it doesnt work correctly as in s40theme (just when i click play button on carbide). Another reason, s40 could run faster than carbide.
I dont realy care about the tools as long as it easy for me ...

I found a solution. Open Theme studio and click Help>Register. Click Get Serial number, then I have an internet connection. If you are already logged into Nokia forums, your serial number will appear on a webpage, and in your email inbox. if not, log in.

That software is obsolete you need to download the free Carbide.ui Theme edition it supports all version of Nokia Series 40 and S60 devices.
