Nokia 3220 (Series 40) COM port problems

System.getProperty("microedition.commports") returns NULL when the application is executed on the phone.

The same application works just fine in Series 40 emulator.

Anybody can help?

welcome aboard!

that's implementation dependant property and it could be that is not available on specific device,
try searching forum for "3220" keyword, maybe you will find something more usefull then my post,

I've scanned the board with "3220" keyword (as well as other keywords), but no luck so far...

Hi,

Unfortunately, this feature is not implemented in 3220. It is being made available from 6280 onwards (Series 40 3rd. Edition) and all s60 3rd. edition devices.
