Nokia Mobile Internet Toolkit 4.1 install doesnt work

Hi !

I really need the Nokia Mobile Internet Toolkit. I downloaded it form the nokia website and now I am tryng to install it. First thing is that they ask me for a serial number. In the installing guide they say I can get the serial number from the same page where i downloaded the Toolkit if i click on the "Request Serial Number" link. But on this page is no "Request Serial Number" link. If I dont enter a Serial Number in the installation wizard, i can just click on the Next button and then they ask me for my Nokia Forum username and password. When i enter my username and password and cklick on the next button, i get following message: "Read error Failed to parse the response message from server". And after that nothing happens. So how can i fix this?
Where can i get the serial number from?

it could be temporar issue with nokia forum server,
"Request serial number" page is seems to be down:

you could use that page to requests serials via web form,

I wrote about that: server seems to be down, could be ralated to issues with in-IDE registration process,

I knew a Blazejewski in college.

but in the meantime, what is going on with the installation issue?!?

I have a username & password, but no serial #. and I get the same 'failed to parse' message that others are getting.

is it possible to kindly resolve this issue?

The Serial number regsitration is temporarily down. Forum Nokia did a major upgrade Tuesday and some links were not resolved. I'll post a sticky note tomorrow with more information and an estimated time for it to be fixed if it isn't by tomorrow morning. (US Time)

This seems like a Java Runtime issue. I would try to download an older JDK version, one from around June 2007 (jdk 1.5.x), if I were you.
Keep in mind that if you are interested in a development environment for Web based applications you might want to try the new Nokia Web Tools 2.0 (beta).
