Send file from a Nokia 6680 to a server via GPRS

Hello,

I need you help please ...

i have to implement a Midlet that can be able to browse the phone
memory for a file and then send it via GPRS to a server which have a fixed IP.
This file can be a video, ringtone, ....

I have many problems with my actual version ..

If anybody can help me or have a source code for this application, he will save my life ..
It is a school project and the deadline is approaching :-(

buy or read that book:

chapter 9 (blog images/text/audio upload via http connection) or just get source code from FN for that book,
file upload is as simple as writing binary data into output stream to e.g. java servlet,

is it the one named "MultimediaBlog" ? i am checking it ;-)

i will try to get the book but i am afraid that i will have no time to command it via internet .... i have to finish the project soon ..

hi,

not sure what exactly you want now:
- you have sample in book source files to upload image (captured) to web server via http (it could be done via gprs/edge/etc),
to select file from device your target phone need to support JSR-75 optional api (most recent S40/S60 phones support that api),

yes, you can, and it works on my 6680 device,
see Hartti's FAQ list which contains resources links for JSR-75 PIM api (contancts/events/todo list support in short):

Nokia provides fully functioning midlet to test that JSR,
