    hi all !
i m new to symbian programming. I have downloaded the Symbian series 60 SDK. While going thru the Docs, i came across an application wizard called MEAD, but i cant find it anywhere in my installation.
I have already built and run the HelloWorld application; so at least one example is properly running.
I can see the mead.bat file but there is no mead folder or mead.jar file.

    regards,
    SN

    ...just to clarify, i m using v0.9

Building the application is quite straightforward ... u just need to follow the instructions in the manual.
Just go to the folder containing the application that u want to build.
open a dos window and 'cd' to this folder.
in the window , type 'bldmake bldfiles'.
next type 'abld makefile vc6' [u need to have vc++ installed]

u will find that the folowing folder tree is created
    "... BUILD\SYMBIAN\6.1\SERIES60\EPOC32EX\HELLOWORLD\HELLOWORLD\WINS".
This folder tree is created inside the epoc32 folder inside wherever u installed your Symbian SDK.

This shud get u up and running.

    regards,
    SN

There is an application wizard for Nokia Communicator 9200 Series SDK called MEAD. Unfortunately there is still some references in Series 60 SDK Help for MEAD.

In Series 60 SDK there is AppWizard for the same purposes.
In the SDK help there is document at 'Series 60 >> Series 60 Developer Guides >> AppWizard' which explain how to install and use this tools.

    Best Regards,
