Email Counting

Hi!
I am trying to count the emails which are there in the mailbox folder in the Messaging application,But i am not able to figure out exactly the folder id where the Emails are stored .Is there any folder where emials are stored like the sms and what is the folder id .And what is the procedure of counting the emails.Please do reply and thanks in advance

I recommend you to use socket in case if you using (email) application most of the classes and libraries provided by Nokia (Not working) this is a personal expairement by me , try to read about sockets and then do your application based on socket approach.
