Profile switcher question

Hello

I'm new to mobile programming and i want to make a profile switcher. My question is if my phone Nokia 6610i (Developer Platform: Series 40 Developer Platform 1.0) let's me change his profiles from code. And if this is possible then could somebody give me some links where i can read how to do this.

Unfortunately no, there is no access to profiles from Java ME

And it's not possible with some patches or another packages from nokia?
Or how cand i do this on netbeans mobile simulator let's say.
Could you give me some doc. to this pls. ?

Access to phone profiles is not available through standard Java ME. On some devices (RIM devices might have this, I do not remember all the extensions they have by heart) there might be proiprietary extensions to do that, but there is no support for this on Nokia devices.
