Mobile Internet Toolkit 4.1 is broken

In particular, the app doesn't start up. It displays a message

"Application loading, please wait...."

And nothing happens. The only way to get rid of it is to kiill the associated javaw process. I also saw Norton AntiVirus complain of a internet worm once, with the java w process as the culprit, so this hanging could be related to the toolkit doing naughty things.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the toolkit didn't help.

The tool worked twice after I isntalled it the first time. After that, zilch

have you tried:

disabling your WindowsFirewall & Norton Automatic Convertion for short time just to test for toolkit behavior

if you are with java 1.5 install patcher tool from tool web page, maybe that's the reason
