    Hi,

We're developing a midlet that is installed by sending an sms to our server. The server then sends back an URL of the servlet to the phone.
It works fine on all other phone models and midlets but the N80 keeps saying "invalid Jar file". There is nothing wrong with the midlet and it installs perfectly if I push it directly to the N80 using bluetooth.

Has anyone had similar problems? And have you figured out a solution to the problem?

Have you configured the MIME type for jar files correctly on your server?

it should be "application/java-archive" for jar

Yes, MIME types are correct. I tried it with another N80 today and it seems to work fine with it. Mayby there's something wrong the phone because the two N80's have the exact same firmware.

Ok, problem solved. We got one phone back from service with new firmware and all the problems seem to be gone. For now.
Even trouble with bluetooth connections seems to be better now.
Thank you Nokia for the update. And thank you Hartti.
