Carbide Error 1 problem

Hi

I'm developing bluetooth audio communication ...but when I compile the code carbide doesn't create sis file I just get "Error 1" answer can anyone tell what does it mean??

I found out that it is some how connected to RSocketServ ....

I checkes the build->error praser...connected to "makesis file" praser...and after that I got problem
error:
file i/o fault
sis file error 1
sym file error1 ....but when I hash it out this line:
"$(EPOCROOT)\Epoc32\release\$(PLATFORM)\$(TARGET)\BCS.exe" -"!:\sys\bin\BCS.exe"
in pkg file there in no more those errors only ...error 1 conected to sym file
and sis file creates...strange

does somebody has expierence or knows solution for that??

Hello Carbide.C++ symbian developers,

What exactly is the meaning of "Error 1".

I've just tried building for ARMI for Series 60 v2 Feature Pack 3 and I get "Error 1". Of interest:

1/ No problems during the debug builds of all versions of v2 SDK's.
2/ No problems building SyExpat for ARMI (located in the same project directory).

Any insight into Carbide.C++ express is appreciated and whether upgrading to Carbide.C++ Dev of Pro would make any difference.

Hello again fellow developers,

Error 1 == Missing Lib files

That is, add the libraries you would normally just add to the (fabulous) MMP file into one of the Carbide.C++ properties dialog.

For example in the MMP file;

LIBRARY  flogger.lib 
LIBRARY  eikctl.lib 
LIBRARY  edbms.lib

becomes for the ARMI build;

Project > Properties > C/C++ Build > "Tool Settings" > GCC98 Linker first stage > "General options"

Under "Libraries" add each library separately

${EPOCROOT}epoc32\release\armi\urel\flogger.lib
${EPOCROOT}epoc32\release\armi\urel\eikctl.lib
${EPOCROOT}epoc32\release\armi\urel\edbms.lib

and for the Debug build;

Project > Properties > C/C++ Build > "Tool Settings" > WINSCW C/C++ Linker > "Libraries"

Under "Libraries" add each library separately

flogger.lib
eikctl.lib
edbms.lib

And just when I had become comfy with the damn MMP file

friend, an you do me a favour?? i think you have alreday done the coding to discover the bluetooth device, permanenlty pairing it all.can u send me the code for it pls??
