Vehicle Tracking system using SMS

Hi friends...
I am now in the development of a vehicle tracking system using SMS..The idea is that the tower location displayed on the screen of the mobile has to be retreived by using the AT commands...Which AT command can i use to get the tower location...please help me.....

Hi.
I ve also try to get the area name using AT Command (AT+CNMI=2,0,2) but I cant do this with my nokia 6680. I thing you may look for the Cell ID & LAC by using (AT+CREG=2).

I have a problem in using the AT command that is I cant attach the cell ID in SMS. Want suggessions.

Why don't you use Location module in Pys60. It would be easier than this specially in 2nd Edition devices.

great idea you can use the location module available in PyS60 which is very simple.
For your information one of the forum nokia champions and my prof. Kiran R Trivedi has already made an wonderful application on vehicle tracking system.
He used the PyS60 ans remember PyS60 is very easy and most attractive try out that.
