    Hi Experts

I know that the most of the developers are developing apps
at the present time on the Nokia s60 2/3rd generation devices.

Today i bought the Nokia 1100 phone that is excellent device
when taking calls within the public area.

So, is there any possibility to develop applications
on the Nokia 1100(s) phone with the public Carbide family tools ?

By the way Nokia guys !
I think that there should be also the "hardware" section
on this Nokia forun site too. Thera are a lot of developers
that want to ask hardware specifin things related to software
    and vise versa.

    Just commenting by my way

The 1100 is a fairly limited device. I'm not sure it supports any kind of add-on applications. If it does, it is J2ME (Java) apps = using Carbide.j

Yes, i agree that 1100 is limited device.
But, in real world this limited device is
the device what the normal user needs
    on her's world.

But, i think that there are so many Nokia
phone models, that everyone is happy
    with her's connecting device model.
All are happy people with their devices.

    hi turnabull2,

I remember question about that on java section, its device with prebuild software, no installs, etc,
that site lists all phones that can be used as development target:
