Well apparently I found out that another guy with a Sony Ericson Mobile who I paired with to send him a file, can apparently browse the contents of my Nokia and apparently delete the files, is there anyway to stop this other than turning off bluetooth?

Just remove the pairing. You don't have to pair with other peoples devices. You can send files to each other anyway. Just make your phone visible, and anybody can send you a file if you confirm the transfer.

It should also be possible to configure the access he has to your phone. Like setting "ask always" on the pairing.

so there is no way to still enable pairing and set certain folders read only?
It's not a problem for me once I paired with someone that he can browse my phone and download them, but I need to disable the delete

    hi SeNtiX,

you don't need to remove pairing, you can simply mark paired device as unathorized using BT manager app - that way prior to establishing connection you will be prompted to accept connection even if device is already paired with your device,

    regards,
    Peter

Ok thanks, also recently I came across another problem, apparently someone who I wasn't paired with kept trying to send me some file each 2 mins and when I checked the received file it he kept sending a file with a random name of letters and numbers .sis

    2sf43f_df.sis

Was there anyway I could have blocked this user, other than turning off blutooth?

    hi,

it sounds like "bluetooth spam", unfortunately I never heard if there is an application which allow to avoid such privacy abuse (I call it abuse because the other person is within 10 meters from you - so you should know who is abusing you),
try review datasheets for Nokia devices security software:
