How to run client-server Application on emulator..

Can anybody helpout how to run client-server application on emulator..plz send me in detail...thank u

hi,

if you have written application which uses connections to server then:
#1
if local service is used (server can be accessed via system loopback: 127.0.0.1) just use locahost address in your connection url
#2
if you are using remote server (server that can be accessed via remote dns or ip address) just use that url in your app

#3
run your applicatin within emulator which emulates network connections,
it could be for example S603rdEdition SDK emulator, S40 3rdEdFp1 SDK emulator or Sun WTK 2.2/2.5 Emulator,

on all of above SDKs/emulators no additional settigns are usually required to emulate network connections,

2nd edition - do you mean e.g. S60 2nd Edition FP 2 SDK or similiar tool from FN?

I never managed to configure S60 2nd edtion emulator for network, sorry

you can post reqeust there - maybe someone will post tutorial for us how to use that SDK emulator with network connections emulator,
I've just taken S603rd Ed simulator - quick and breeze - it can be used just for testing your network related features in application,
S603rd Ed/S403rdFp1 and Sun WTK 2.5 beta are just best emulators I've know for maintainign network related things including debuggin, etc,
