N91 HttpConnection only wlan AP shown

Hi

I got a networked midlet that uses http connection. It works on all phones i have tested but on the N91 when it tries to connect and the list of available access points is displayed, only WLAN is provided. I need to connect via GPRS or EDGE, how do I get the N91 to give me the option of connecting to the other access points (of which there are many) configured on the phone?

Never Mind, I found the solution. The defualt access point must be set in menu->tools->settings->connection->packet data->Access point (default is none).

I'm having the exact same problem and the solution you provided is not working for me.

I've already set the default access point (it's a text box, so I've already tried using both the existing GPRS access point name and the connection name), but my MIDlet is still asking me to choose from a WLAN access point list when I'm about to open an HTTP connection.

Has this issue been solved? I'm having real trouble getting network access via GPRS inside Java applications to work.

The firmware updater say I currently have the latest N91 firmware, vodafone branding.

I've tried to set a default access point via menu->tools->settings->connection->packet data->Access point

Both using the APN name and the name of the access point itself, but no luck, I am only asked to search for WLAN connection type.

EDIT: Issue is fixed. Simply
1) Reset the phone with the code *#7370#
2) Reset the phone again with the code *#7780#

And it works as it should.
