Is there a licence for source code examples in white papers?

Hi
I wonder if there is a licence for source code exemples in white papers? Or if it's free to use for commercial programs.

For example I found the white paper to build a RSS reader in java, with source code and want to use it to build my own.

Mayby a silly question, but there's so much discussions about software licences, so it's hard to know what you can use.

If you are talking about Forum Nokia documentation, usually the licence is included in the documentation or in the accompanying source code package.

As an example, this is the licence.txt file with the System Properties example app and doc
