I'm new to the LBS world and I have seen some sites out there that talk about using WiFi to find out device location. I am interested in developing a location-aware service and would like to avoid having to depend on an external GPS receiver.

Is anyone here experienced w/ developing this on S60? Are there APIs available to do this or could you point me in the right direction?

There is a service called Loki that does it but their API is not availabe for Symbian.
