Hi, umm im a newbie to java and i was thinking of making an application so that will turn on my phone's LED flash.i found this: http://library.forum.nokia.com/index...shControl.html but got no idea where to start =/ can anyone help me start off ><?

P.S.my phone is Nokia 6600 slide. Platform S40, 5th series?

u can try following guidelines:
1. create the player.
2. Instantiate the FlashControl as like other controls.
3. Use the functions of FlashControl.

Use this method for control the activities of Flash : void setMode(FlashControl.FORCE) to open the flash.
Before opening the flash check that whether flash is already opened or not by the use of getMode() .

alrite.. sorry about the umm "short" delay. i got something together(from looking at other code and yes i really don't know what im doing)but when i try compiling it, it says

When declaring a method parameter, you need a type and a name, like:

public void setMode(int force) {

Don't use all capital letters, except for "static final" class members.
